The VFW Action Center provides current national advocacy campaigns, legislative information, VFW testimony, tools to find your elected representatives, and simple ways to contact Congress about issues affecting the veteran community.
Current campaigns include efforts to protect veterans' earned disability compensation, oppose reductions in benefits for future veterans, and advance important veterans legislation.

The Veterans' Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2026 would increase certain Department of Veterans Affairs benefit payments by the same percentage applied to Social Security benefits.
The adjustment would apply to disability compensation for veterans with service-connected disabilities, additional compensation for eligible dependents, clothing allowances, and Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) for eligible survivors.
The VFW supports annual cost-of-living adjustments that help veterans, dependents, and survivors maintain financial stability as the cost of living increases.
