Our Canteen is open to the public—everyone is welcome! Whether you are stopping by to watch the game, challenge your friends, enjoy a cold drink or spend time with members of the Cypress community, the Post 8905 Canteen offers a friendly and relaxed place to gather. There is always something to enjoy at the Canteen: Bring your friends, choose your game and settle in for an enjoyable evening at Post 8905. Every Monday during regular Canteen hours Start the week at Post 8905 with a refreshing Michelada and good company. The Canteen is open to the public—everyone is welcome! Every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Join us in the Canteen for the weekly Queen of Hearts drawing. You must be present to draw your card! First Friday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy Steak Night in the Main Hall and spend the evening with veterans, families, friends and members of the community. Steak Night is open to the public! Smoking is permitted on the outdoor patio, which features televisions and fans for added comfort. The Post 8905 Canteen is more than a place to grab a drink or watch a game. It is a gathering place where veterans, families, friends and neighbors can relax, connect and enjoy good company. You do not need to be a VFW member to visit the Canteen.
